Fishermen must have a CA license but they no longer have to display it. A base fishing permit is also required to fish aboard the base.
The state license cost is $32.80 and if you want to fish the ocean you’ll need the Ocean enhancement stamp ($3.70 extra).
The cost of a base fishing permit is $5.00
