- New idea of putting structure in Lake O’Neill to improve fish habitat is discussed. Rob Shuford will pursue this and other options with Mr. Berry, Base Biologist.
- The idea was also discussed to stock Lake O’Neill. Trout was the first spoken of but the lake would not hold trout throughout the summer months. Catfish was the next talked about and Rob Shuford will pursue the possibilities of stocking Catfish in the lake.
- The Executive Committee will meet on the 22nd of Sept. to review the Club’s Constitution and By Laws.
- The draft copy of the base-hunting bulletin has been published and sent out for review. There are a couple of areas that the club expected changes in and did not see.
- One item being that the hunting hours should be extended in the evening to coincide with the State of California hunting regulations which are until one-half hour after sunset, which would permit an evening hunt.
- The second item being no restriction on the total number of areas open to hunting and the total number of hunters allowed hunting. The Club believes that if the area is not closed for training then hunters should be able to check out for hunting in that area.
- Next Club meeting will be on Oct. 18th, 2005 in building 25264 at 1830.
Adjournment. Meeting adjourned at 1946
